October 30, 2026|China’s Top20 WeChat Mini Games
Puzzles gain ground, but rebounds, sudden climbs and recent declines tell different stories.
Puzzles now make up more than half of the Top20, with new faces joining familiar games near the top. Games returning to a high rank deserve a different reading from those that surged in the final two days. Two survival strategy games fell in popularity rank while rising in revenue rank. For design comparisons, it is worth looking separately at what draws initial interest and what gives players a reason to keep playing. Popularity Top20
Each game pairs its past seven days of ranks with the number of days it spent in the Top20 over the past 30 days. Looking at both its current position and how it got there can change which games deserve a closer look first. (October 30 popularity chart · Previous report · October 22 · accessed )

7-day best #1 · worst #1.Last 30 days: Top20 on 30 of 30 recorded days.(Rank history · accessed)The order in which you choose tiles is the puzzle. Pick picture tiles from overlapping layers, place them in the seven slots below, and clear three matching pictures. Covered tiles become available only after the tiles above them are removed. A full holding area stops further moves, so matching pictures also means managing space for the next choice. (WeChat edition overview · Public screen · accessed )
Comment It held first place throughout the past seven days. The useful comparison here is less about tile types than how quickly empty slots disappear. Watch for the moment when a visible match still makes the player hesitate over whether to pick it now. (Rank history · accessed )

Public promotional images show layers of mahjong tiles and two identical designs being linked. Rather than exchanging tiles with opponents in a mahjong match, the game focuses on finding matching tiles on the board. (Public introduction and promotional images · )
Comment It returned from 54th on October 22 to second. Its rank improved every day in the latest seven-day window, but it had already reached sixth on October 14. Treat it as a recovery after a decline rather than a game rising for the first time, and watch how long it holds a high position this time. (Rank history · accessed )

7-day best #2 · worst #3.Last 30 days: Top20 on 30 of 30 recorded days.(Rank history · accessed)A competitive card game about emptying your hand quickly. Its core game, Doudizhu, divides three players into one landlord and two farmers. Decisions begin with choosing the landlord and continue through how cards are grouped and played. Players infer remaining cards from opponents’ plays, while the farmers also need to cooperate. The WeChat version’s introduction lists Guandan, Paodekuai and friend rooms alongside Doudizhu. (WeChat edition overview · Game guide · accessed )
Comment It stayed between second and third. Alongside the sharp moves among puzzle games, it offers an example of familiar competitive play holding a leading position. 7-day best #3 · worst #5.Last 30 days: Top20 on 30 of 30 recorded days.(Rank history · accessed)Shake the pile and find three matching objects. This 3D puzzle asks players to clear matching food items and household objects piled in a bowl. Shaking the phone up and down performs a “pan shake,” rearranging the pile to reveal other objects. Emptying the bowl earns a goose. Themes built around regional food and everyday scenes, along with collecting geese, provide further goals. (Developer’s description · accessed )
Comment It remained fairly steady at third to fifth over the past seven days. A useful comparison is whether players can immediately recognize their target in a crowded screen. Look at how object shapes, overlap and the shaking action help them choose. (Rank history · accessed )

7-day best #5 · worst #8.Last 30 days: Top20 on 28 of 30 recorded days.(Rank history · accessed)A management game about growing crops, harvesting and expanding a farm. Players produce, upgrade and open new areas. The farm’s appearance and production efficiency change across repeated visits. Its official account emphasizes harvesting and taking crops from friends’ farms, and also introduces a crop collection and themed activities. (WeChat edition overview · Official account · accessed )
Comment It fell from third in the previous report to sixth, but stayed in the top ten on all seven recent days. Revenue rank also fell, from 24th to 51st. When comparing farming games, look separately at the reasons to return for a harvest and the reasons to spend. (Rank history · accessed )

Objects covered by others can be picked up only after those above them are cleared. The room gradually emptying gives an immediate picture of progress. (Official developer introduction · accessed )
Comment It stayed in the Top20 on all seven recent days, holding its position after the rebound covered in the previous report. Tidying makes the before-and-after result visible. Watch whether completing one room makes the player curious about the next. (Rank history · accessed )

Stages ask players to collect specified targets or clear obstacles, sometimes within a limited number of moves. Groups of four or five, or particular shapes, create special effects that can set off chain reactions. (WeChat edition overview · accessed )
Comment It ranked eighth to 12th over the past seven days. In a puzzle that keeps the same rules over many stages, combinations of goals and obstacles make a useful comparison beyond the novelty of the initial rule. Look at how much one new element changes existing choices, and how much extra explanation it needs. (Rank history · accessed )

Public screenshots show picture tiles packed onto a flat board, with helper tools below. The board itself differs from 羊了个羊:星球(Yang le ge yang: Xingqiu), where overlapping tiles are collected into slots below. (Developer overview · Public screen · accessed )
Comment It dropped to 36th on October 26 before recovering to ninth. That is four places above the previous report, but the path included both a fall and a recovery. Look at how clearing tiles changes a space, and whether short rounds stay connected to longer-term goals. (Rank history · accessed )

Players pick arrows with clear paths out of a tightly packed arrow maze. Removing one can open another’s exit, making the order matter. In a public talk, the development team described variations such as colored arrows, giant arrows and sequences of consecutive clears. It also explained how time limits can be adjusted to player skill. (WeChat edition overview · Developer presentation · 2026-06-01 · accessed )
Comment It ranked tenth to 14th over the past seven days and stayed in the Top20 throughout all 30 recent days. Arrow and path layouts alone can change the choices in this puzzle. Tap screws into matching boxes to drop plates and reveal the screws underneath. The development team said it deliberately created moments when removing a plate opens up several choices. After clearing the board, collected materials feed into a further goal: completing a picture. (Developer announcement · )
Comment It recovered from 42nd on October 26 to 11th on the 30th. Choosing one screw removes a plate above and opens the next set of choices. Check whether players can quickly distinguish a screw they can remove now from one worth leaving for later. (Rank history · accessed )

A short escape challenge leads into the longer task of collecting the next animal. (Public introduction and screenshots · )
Comment It fell from second on October 25–26 to 13th on the 30th. It was absent from the previous list, but its recent movement is closer to a decline than a climb. Defeating enemies opens land and buildings at the base, where residents can be assigned to increase production. Progress brings strategy play on a larger map, gathering resources and fighting alongside an alliance. (Gameplay analysis and screenshots · September 2026)
Comment It fell from third on October 27 to 15th on the 30th, while its revenue rank rose from ninth to sixth compared with the previous report. This gives a reason to examine the opening combat that draws interest separately from growth goals that can sustain play. The two ranks are not moving in the same direction. Players need to read both their own tiles and what others choose and discard. Tencent’s official app description emphasizes real-time matches, regional mahjong rules and team play with friends. Even when the basic rules become familiar, opponents and match conditions change. (Official app description · accessed )
Comment It dropped as low as 30th in the past seven days before returning to 16th. Familiar rules do not necessarily mean small rank changes. Comment It fell from 11th in the previous report to 17th, spending one of the past seven days outside the Top20. Look at how the goal of emptying a hand leads into repeated competition. Comment Popularity rank fell from 15th in the previous report to 19th, while revenue rank rose from seventh to third. More puzzles, with different kinds of play
Fifteen games remain from the previous Top20, with five places changing hands. Grouping the source’s puzzle-related categories gives an increase from nine to 12 entries. Card and board games went from 5→4, strategy and defense from 3→2, and management and merge from 2→1. 对子消消乐(Duizi Xiaoxiaole) and 益智闯一关(Yizhi Chuang Yi Guan) also entered the top five. (October 30 popularity chart · Previous report · October 22 · accessed )
| Games that entered the Top20 | 10/22 | 10/30 |

| 对子消消乐(Duizi Xiaoxiaole) | 54 | 2 |
| 益智闯一关(Yizhi Chuang Yi Guan) | 80 | 4 |
| 打个螺丝(Da Ge Luosi) | 39 | 11 |
| 不停找找找(Bu Ting Zhao Zhao Zhao) | No record | 12 |
| 偷上蛋快跑(Tou Shang Dan Kuai Pao) | No record | 13 |
| Games that left the Top20 | 10/22 | 10/30 |

| 掼蛋(Guandan) | 19 | 24 |
| 梦幻消除战(Menghuan Xiaochu Zhan) | 20 | 23 |
A list full of puzzles does not point to just one set of rules. 抓大鹅(Zhua Da E) asks players to pick matching objects from a mixed pile, 一箭又一箭(Yi Jian You Yi Jian) releases arrows through blocked paths, and 打个螺丝(Da Ge Luosi) removes overlapping plates by undoing screws. Even with the same tapping action, what players must read first and the order of their choices create different kinds of thought. Five new entries, different paths to the Top20
对子消消乐(Duizi Xiaoxiaole) returned from 54th on October 22 to second on the 30th. In the latest seven days, it climbed steadily: 49→38→20→9→6→3→2. Yet it had already been sixth on October 14, making the longer view a recovery after a decline. By contrast, 益智闯一关(Yizhi Chuang Yi Guan) rose from 53rd on October 28 to fourth in just two days. A recovery over several days and a surge in the final two days call for different follow-up checks. (对子消消乐(Duizi Xiaoxiaole) · 益智闯一关(Yizhi Chuang Yi Guan) · accessed )
New entrant 偷上蛋快跑(Tou Shang Dan Kuai Pao) was second on October 25–26 but is now 13th. 不停找找找(Bu Ting Zhao Zhao Zhao) also fell from sixth to 32nd before returning to 12th. Being absent from the previous article does not mean a game is still climbing now. (偷上蛋快跑(Tou Shang Dan Kuai Pao) · 不停找找找(Bu Ting Zhao Zhao Zhao) · accessed )
There are three things to watch in the next report: whether recovering games add more days in the Top20, whether games that surged hold high positions a few days later, and whether recent decliners rebound. Teams with their own operating data can compare new arrivals, first-round completion and next-day returns on those same dates. Rather than attributing a rank rise to advertising or an update alone, this helps narrow down where the change occurred.
Two survival strategy games moved in opposite directions on popularity and revenue charts
Compared with the previous report, 向末日开炮(Xiang Mori Kaipao) moved from 6→15 in popularity rank and 9→6 in revenue rank. 疯狂水世界(Fengkuang Shui Shijie) also fell from 15→19 in popularity rank while rising from 7→3 in revenue rank. A decline in popularity rank does not mean revenue rank moves in the same direction. (向末日开炮(Xiang Mori Kaipao) · 疯狂水世界(Fengkuang Shui Shijie) · accessed )
QQ经典农场(QQ Jingdian Nongchang) fell in both rankings: 3→6 for popularity and 24→51 for revenue. That differs from the two strategy games. Rather than grouping games under a genre label, examine each title’s first-round appeal, reasons to return and reasons to spend. Comparing the visible results of repeated visits—from harvests and changing farm spaces to resources and base growth in strategy games—makes the questions more concrete. (Rank history · accessed )
Three comparisons for a design meeting
This list is useful for comparing how a short play session connects to the next visit, beyond picking a popular theme. Before following one game in depth, look at the same moment across two or three titles.
| Games to compare | Moments to observe during play | Questions to check |
|---|---|---|
| Tile, arrow and screw puzzles | The first choice, when space or a path runs out, and just before finishing a level | Can players anticipate the outcome before making a mistake? Can a new layout create different choices without adding new rules? |
| Egg-collecting games and sorting puzzles | Just after collecting an item or clearing space, when the next goal appears | Does a short session leave the player with a sense of progress? Does the reward make the next goal appealing? |
| Farming and survival strategy | On returning, after collecting resources, and when choosing what to build next | Does returning feel rewarding right away? Are both today’s tasks and longer-term goals clear? |
At odd duck, we are preparing our next ideas by looking at notable rank changes alongside actual play scenes. We want to start with a screen that invites a first tap, then find the reasons to return after a round is over.
